Samsung to deliver one of the first Chrome OS Netbooks
Samsung lets loose with the news that they'll be delivering a Chrome OS based netbook in 2010
Samsung Austrlaian IT boss Phil Newton let it slip that Samsung will be releasing a Google Chrome OS based netbook in the second half of 2010. Expected to be similar to the new " target="_blank">N210 Mini Notebook. Most of the details are thin on the ground but we'd expect a Pine View based unit with word that it will have 2GB of RAM and a 64GB disk.
While there are a huge variety of options in the netbook OS Space, the off-the-shelf options are largely settling on Windows 7 so we think that an option with the backing of a company as huge as Google is a great thing for competition.
